A beautiful, bright, enigmatic Rosé.
Lifted floral notes of apple blossom and fresh fruits, with a textured palate of white peach
and citrus. Balanced acid provides a crisp, fresh finish.
This is the second rosé we've made - this time it's a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Mataro - the Mataro has added a little more citrus to the palate.
Grenache is a challenging variety to grow in the Cool Climate Canberra District – we planted a special block of vines at the highest, and warmest point of our steep vineyard, and remove half the crop in January to ensure full ripeness in March with a good balance of acid and sugars.
Drink to 2023. Winemaker: Alex McKay. 11.7% alc.
