An effusive sparkling wine with spicy green apple aromas which continue to a full, lengthy palate that adds a little slate and citrus.
Based on Savagnin, it's made using the Petillant Naturel (Natural Sparkling) method - original grape juice was added back to the base wine for the secondary fermentation in bottle.
Unlike a methode traditionelle sparkling, we don't remove the sediment, and we don't add sugar.
It makes for a crisp, refreshing sparkling, and the lack of sugar allows the full delicious flavour profile of Savagnin to show through.
